Massachusetts schools aren’t required to include prenatal biology in their science curriculum. As a result, many students never learn what happens between fertilization and birth.
MCFL stepped in to change that—by creating and distributing a free, 31-page, pocket-sized booklet: "From Fertilization to Birth." When students learn the facts, they’re more likely to understand and advocate for the unborn.
Now, volunteers are working to distribute these booklets to student groups across the state, each with an adult guide to support conversation and answer questions.
