Did you know? Nearly 1 in 4 abortions in Massachusetts were telehealth in 2023
In 2023, 24,355 abortions occurred in Massachusetts, with 5,744 (almost 1 in 4) of them performed through telehealth. However, only 1,397 of those telehealth abortions were for Massachusetts residents, meaning that a significant number of abortions were performed for out-of-state women.
