The U.S. Army has issued a formal apology after a Fort Bragg training presentation wrongly identified National Right to Life, Operation Rescue, and other pro-life organizations as terrorist threats.
Army Secretary Dan Driscoll called the briefing “deeply inappropriate” and criticized the previous administration’s “inadequate response.” He affirmed that the Army does not view pro-life beliefs or groups as indicators of terrorism.
National Right to Life President Carol Tobias welcomed the apology, emphasizing the organization’s long-standing commitment to peace and condemning violence in all forms.
