The Massachusetts Joint Committee on Education will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Gardner Auditorium at the State House (and virtually).
Two bills on the agenda—H.656 / S.340, “An Act Relative to Healthy Youth”—would impose a statewide, pro-abortion sexual education curriculum. These measures undermine parents, expose children to harmful content, and promote abortion in our schools. MCFL strongly opposes this legislation.
You can take action:
Testify in person or virtually. Virtual registration closes Friday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m. In-person testimony sign-up will also be available at the hearing. Each speaker is limited to two minutes.
Submit written testimony. Send your statement to the Committee on Education by email or mail. Written testimony will be accepted until Tuesday, September 23.
