Newly released state data show 49,450 abortions in 2024, up from 24,355 in 2023, a 103% year-over-year increase. The rise was driven primarily by a sharp expansion of telehealth and chemical abortion, which became the dominant method statewide.
Walpole, MA – For the 16th consecutive year, Choose Life Massachusetts, Inc. will disperse grants to charitable organizations who serve women in crisis pregnancies. Pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes applied for financial awards directly through Choose Life, an affiliate of Massachusetts Citizens for Life Charitable Trust. The first round of grants issued in 2026 totals more than $21,000.
