National Right to Life hailed today’s Supreme Court ruling in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic as a major pro-life victory.
The Court upheld South Carolina’s decision to remove abortion providers from its Medicaid program, reinforcing states’ authority to prioritize life-affirming healthcare.
“We are grateful the Supreme Court has recognized the right of states to direct taxpayer dollars toward life-affirming healthcare providers,” said NRTL president Carol Tobias, emphasizing that “no one should be forced to subsidize the abortion industry with their tax dollars.”
