MCFL has updated its 2026 Voter Guide & Scorecard ahead of the November 3 State Election. The guide provides essential voting information and candidate information based on publicly available voting records and positions currently compiled by MCFL.
The voter guide is separate from MCFL’s Hold Them Accountable project. That statewide accountability effort is building a record of where Massachusetts legislators and candidates stand on two specific issues. The current voter guide does not yet include the results of that accountability effort. MCFL plans to release the compiled responses in a later phase, including responses from candidates who were not incumbents and therefore did not have the same legislative record to review.
The Hold Them Accountable project is also intended to extend beyond the November election. The record will provide a resource for evaluating where legislators and candidates have stated they stand and for informing future legislative efforts. As the project continues, supporters will have opportunities to ask candidates and legislators the same questions and help build that statewide record.
