Wyoming pregnancy centers receive statutory protection with CARE Act

Wyoming has taken a major step to protect pregnancy centers and the families they serve.

The Wyoming Pregnancy Center Autonomy and Rights of Expression (CARE) Act passed the state legislature and now awaits Gov. Mark Gordon’s signature.

The law shields pregnancy centers from government coercion, ensuring they cannot be forced to provide or promote abortions, abortion-inducing drugs, or contraception, while recognizing the vital support these centers offer to women and families across the state.
