Visitation House housing and support services featured in documentary

Visitation House, a Worcester maternity home, is being featured in a documentary highlighting its housing and support services for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. The organization provides residential stability, counseling, and life skills training aimed at helping mothers build long-term independence.

Since opening in 2005, Visitation House has assisted more than 300 women and their children and continues to operate through private donations and community support.

The documentary, produced by EWTN, includes resident perspectives and an overview of daily life at the home, and also references the organization’s origins in the vision of Worcester native Ruth Pakaluk, a former president of Massachusetts Citizens for Life who advocated for expanded practical support for pregnant women in need.
