Vaughan-Spruce, who has prayed weekly at the same spot for 20 years, was acquitted in 2023 and received a £13,000 settlement in 2024 for her wrongful arrests.

Vaughan-Spruce insists, “Silent prayer cannot possibly be a crime – everyone has the right to freedom of thought.”
