On Thursday, July 10, the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Public Health will hold a critical hearing on several bills related to “reproductive health.” Five of these bills directly impact the pro-life cause, and your voice is urgently needed.

We strongly support the following three bills:

• H.2493 — An Act protecting pregnancy resource centers from taxpayer-funded negative ad campaigns

• H.2546 — An Act related to unborn victims of Down Syndrome

• H.2428 — An Act protecting the health of the mother and a born-alive fetus after the second trimester

We strongly oppose the following two bills:

• S.1579 — An Act to eliminate barriers (parental consent) and expand abortion access

• H.4122 — An Act relative to deceptive trade practices — a gag rule that would silence pregnancy centers and ban abortion pill reversal

This is our opportunity to stand up for the truth and speak for life in Massachusetts. Whether you testify live or submit a written statement, your action matters.

1. Submit Written Testimony

Even if you can’t attend the hearing, this is one of the most effective ways to make your voice heard.

2. Testify in person or virtually

If you are willing to speak live—either in person at the State House or virtually—please register as soon as possible:

In-person attendees are also encouraged to pre-register. Same-day sign-up is allowed, but only if time permits after all pre-registered speakers are called.
