New data from Gallup and the General Social Survey reveal encouraging trends for the pro-life movement, especially among young adults ages 18 to 29.
The percentage of young adults who believe abortion should be legal in all circumstances dropped significantly, from 54% in 2023 to 44% in 2025, a 10-point decline. Over the same period, those identifying as pro-life increased by eight points.
Similar patterns appear in recent surveys showing young men in particular are becoming less supportive of abortion, with increased church attendance and shifting cultural attitudes likely playing a role.
