Pro-life medical nonprofit challenges national OB-GYN group on APR

Stanton Healthcare, a life-affirming women’s health nonprofit with clinics across the U.S. and internationally, is pushing back against the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for calling abortion pill reversal “unproven and unethical.”

In a formal letter sent July 13, the group defends the procedure as safe, effective, and supported by medical professionals. Abortion pill reversal uses progesterone, a natural hormone, and has helped over 7,000 women continue their pregnancies without documented harm to mother or child.

The nonprofit is requesting a face-to-face meeting with the organization’s leadership to present doctors, researchers, and women who have successfully used the treatment. They argue that dismissing abortion pill reversal limits access to care and may violate federal protections around reproductive health services.
