A new 2026 Knights of Columbus-Marist Poll shows that most Americans support legal limits on abortion.
The survey found that 67% favor restricting abortion, with 57% supporting limits to the first three months of pregnancy. It also revealed strong backing for pregnancy resource centers, with 84% of respondents supporting centers that provide help to mothers and their babies.
The poll highlights broad public consensus that healthcare professionals with religious objections should not be forced to perform abortions, and that laws can protect both mothers and unborn children. These results underscore continued nationwide support for pro-life policies and resources.
