Massachusetts Citizens for Life is among 83 state and national pro-life organizations calling for action on the federal mail-order abortion drug policy.
In a letter to Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, the coalition urges the Department of Justice to settle the Louisiana v. FDA lawsuit and restore in-person dispensing of abortion drugs while the FDA conducts a renewed safety review. The groups argue the current regulatory framework allows abortion drugs to be shipped across state lines without an in-person medical exam, undermining state laws and raising safety concerns for women.
MCFL President Myrna Maloney Flynn signed the letter on behalf of the organization.
