Paul DeBeasi, chairman-elect of Massachusetts Citizens for Life, will lead a workshop on Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) at the Heartbeat International 2026 Annual International Pregnancy Help Conference.
The workshop, scheduled for March 27, will address common misconceptions about APR while outlining the scientific principles behind the protocol. Topics include the role of progesterone in pregnancy, analysis of survival outcomes following mifepristone, and a review of studies frequently cited in the public debate. The session will also examine questions related to safety, methodology, and claims surrounding birth defect risks.
DeBeasi will highlight APRScience.org, an educational initiative providing research-based information to enhance understanding of APR. The presentation includes a structured review of five commonly cited criticisms, along with supporting data and resources for further study.
The conference, hosted by Heartbeat International, runs March 24–27 in Cincinnati, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available.
