In his memoir Karen: A Brother Remembers, actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his roles in Frasier and Cheers, opens up about the lasting emotional pain from past abortions.
Grammer reveals that two former partners chose abortion during their relationships, with one decision still haunting him. “The abortion of my son eats away at my soul,” he writes, expressing deep regret over not doing more to prevent it.
Grammer also recalls the heartbreaking decision he and his wife, Kayte, made to abort one of their twin babies to save the other. “We killed our son so Faith might live,” he says, reflecting on the profound sorrow he continues to carry.
