Karoline Leavitt welcomes birth of daughter Viviana

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the birth of her daughter, Viviana, who was born on May 1.

Leavitt shared that the baby, nicknamed “Vivi,” is healthy and that her family is adjusting to life with a new child. She also noted that her son is adjusting to life as a big brother.

“On May 1st, Viviana aka ‘Vivi’ joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love,” she said. “She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister.”

Leavitt thanked supporters who offered prayers during her pregnancy, adding, “God is Good.”

Leavitt, who was raised in Atkinson, New Hampshire in a Roman Catholic family, is the youngest White House Press Secretary in U.S. history.
