Help us oppose these bills before the July 31 deadline

The Massachusetts Legislature’s formal session ends on July 31, 2026, making the coming weeks a critical time to contact your elected officials about bills that could impact the protection of human life and families.

We need your help to oppose several bills currently before the Legislature, including proposals related to abortion expansion, removing abortion protections, doctor-prescribed suicide, sexual education curriculum, and other issues affecting life and family.

Among the bills MCFL opposes are S.3125 (formerly S.1244), “An Act Enhancing Hospital Emergency Services,” S.1563/H.2370, “An Act Prioritizing Patient Access to Care,” which would remove the 24-week limit on abortions, H.2505/S.1486 regarding doctor-prescribed suicide, and additional bills addressing sexual education and pregnancy care.

Please contact your legislators today through the MCFL Legislative Action Center to ask them to oppose these bills. You can send a message and call to your representatives or submit written testimonies.
