Firefighter attends graduation of baby he helped deliver years ago

A Colorado Springs firefighter and paramedic who helped deliver a baby in 2004 attended her graduation from Grand Canyon University nearly two decades later.

Alan Kent, now retired after 35 years of service, responded to an emergency call on February 15, 2004, when Chloe Huddle was born shortly after first responders arrived at her family’s home. He helped deliver the newborn minutes later, beginning a long-running connection with the family.

Since that day, Kent has remained in contact with the Huddle family, attending birthdays and other milestones as Chloe grew up.
