A new book, “Mayra Rodríguez vs. Planned Parenthood,” tells the story of Mayra Rodríguez, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who worked for the organization for 15 years before becoming a pro-life advocate.
Rodríguez describes her time inside the abortion industry and her decision to leave, as well as her later legal case against Planned Parenthood Arizona, which resulted in a 2019 jury award of $3 million for retaliatory termination.
In promoting the book, Rodríguez says her goal is to highlight what she views as a lack of public understanding about Planned Parenthood and its broader influence.
The book is being released in Mexico, with plans for an English-language edition.
