Arkansas provides $2 million to pro-life pregnancy centers

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a new law allocating $2 million in state funds to pro-life pregnancy help organizations, including crisis pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies.

The legislation passed unanimously in both chambers of the Arkansas legislature and aims to support services that encourage women facing unintended pregnancies to choose life.

This funding builds on previous state support and reflects a growing trend across several states to provide financial assistance to pregnancy centers following the U.S. Supreme Court's Dobbs decision. These organizations offer critical healthcare, prenatal support, and resources to mothers without promoting or referring abortion.

For many, these centers are vital community lifelines, providing millions of dollars in services each year nationwide.
