APRScience debunks Abortion Pill Reversal myths with new resource

WALPOLE, MA - Massachusetts Citizens for Life proudly announces the launch of a new resource from its affiliate project, APRScience. Available at aprscience.org/myths, this page addresses widespread misinformation about Abortion Pill Reversal (APR). It features annotated video transcripts from renowned obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Christina Francis, CEO of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Since its inception in January 2024, APRScience has become a trusted platform for clinicians and researchers seeking reliable, science-based resources on APR; this high-dose progesterone treatment blocks the abortion drug mifepristone and can save a pregnancy, if a woman acts soon after ingesting mifepristone. To date, more than 6,000 babies have been born globally as a result of APR. APRScience provides aggregated clinical data from multiple studies, formatted into downloadable spreadsheets to streamline analysis and reduce errors. Its citation collections make APR-related literature easily accessible, offering references to clinical trials, observational studies, systematic reviews, and governmental reports. Regular updates to these resources ensure users stay informed with the latest findings in APR medicine.

The content on APRScience is developed by an international network of professionals committed to improving the quality of research in APR medicine. By simplifying access to this information, the project empowers healthcare providers with the tools they need to make informed decisions.

“Many women and their doctors are uninformed about APR. Worse, widely reported APR myths prevent women from accessing this life-saving therapy. We launched APRScience.org/myths to refute this misinformation with fact-based videos, scientific research, and clinical evidence,” said Paul DeBeasi, Director of APRScience.
