Keynote Speaker

Dr. Ben Carson

Dr. Ben Carson is a retired American neurosurgeon and politician who served as the 17th United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 2017 to 2021. He gained significant fame for his pioneering work in neurosurgery, including performing the first successful neurosurgical procedure on a fetus inside the womb, and the first known separation of conjoined twins joined at the back of the head. Dr. Carson is Founder and Chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute, whose mission is to promote the 4 founding principles of our country: faith, liberty, community and life; as well as pursue common sense solutions that challenge conventional groupthink. Dr. Carson has written six bestselling books and has received numerous honors for his work, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2008. Dr. Carson and his wife, Candy, are the proud parents of three adult sons and eight grandchildren.

Emcee: Alexis Walkenstein

Alexis Walkenstein is a Framingham (MA) native, Emmy Award-winning TV journalist turned film producer and PR professional. She's the founder of AWE PR, an international agency that handles publicity and marketing. Alexis has covered murders, fires, the Kennedys, Super Bowls, and the Catholic Church's sex abuse scandal.

Alexis has led media and marketing efforts for family friendly movies such as: For Greater Glory; Ben-Hur; The Dating Project; The Chosen: Season 3 episodes 1 and 2; Divided Hearts of America; Unplanned -which she was a co-producer- and many more.
