Massachusetts Pregnancy Care Alliance unveils billboards to promote 'There For Me' campaign

The Pregnancy Care Alliance of Massachusetts, the state's pioneering network of pregnancy resource centers, has unveiled a striking digital billboard on Interstate 93 in Braintree, Massachusetts. The purpose behind this eye-catching display is to spotlight the essential support provided by pregnancy resource centers to women and infants, all free of charge.

As part of the #ThereForMe campaign, the digital billboards have been strategically positioned to emphasize the invaluable assistance these centers provide to expectant mothers during and after pregnancy.

According to PCALL, two designs alternate during the digital rotation and feature Lindsay, a local mother, and her 8-year-old daughter, Aubree, smiling into one another’s eyes. Lindsay’s own words comprise the text.

One quote reads, “No judgment, just love and support.” The other states, “My daughter is such a blessing!”

The Alliance explained that Lindsay, a former client at the Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices (BCPC), chose to participate in the billboard’s design “without any hesitation” as soon as she was invited.

“Being pregnant at 17 was a very scary yet humbling experience to go through (...) Once I was connected with BCPC, they made me feel like a person with feelings. I felt heard and helped, like this wasn’t going to be the end of my life, and I can still achieve and accomplish many things while still being a young parent,” Lindsay said in a statement from PCALL.

Running through mid-October 2023, these billboards funded by a Boston-based foundation, will reach approximately 344,000 viewers during its four-week run along I-93 at Wood Road in Braintree, according to PCALL. However, it could be even more as data from the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization suggests that roughly 250,000 vehicles pass both lanes of the highway near the Braintree Split daily, which is only 1.5 miles away from the billboards.

Established in 2023, the Pregnancy Care Alliance of Massachusetts operates as an affiliate of Massachusetts Citizens for Life, Inc.
