Massachusetts pro-life activist Paulette Harlow, 75, has been found guilty of violating the FACE Act and "conspiracy against rights" for her involvement in a 2020 pro-life rescue at the Washington Surgi-Clinic, reported LifeSite News.

The verdict, delivered by Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, included findings of "force" and "physical obstruction" under the FACE Act.

"We hope that the FACE Act will soon be struck down," Massachusetts Citizens for Life President Myrna Maloney Flynn stated. "Until then, we look forward to justice in the appeals process for Ms. Harlow and others who were also found guilty in the courtroom of a biased, pro-abortion judge."

The trial is part of a series involving nine activists, with controversial legal strategies employed by the prosecution. Earlier guilty verdicts in similar trials have led to an appeal, and there are hopes for Congressional or Supreme Court intervention to challenge the FACE Act.
