Today, we solemnly mark the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, the companion Supreme Court cases which, until June 24, 2022, legalized abortion across the country until the moment of birth.
Together, we mourn 65 million innocent children, whose lives were gruesomely ended. And we acknowledge their mothers and fathers -- our neighbors, colleagues, friends and family members -- about whose pain we may never know.
What we do know is that truth, our singular guiding light, wins in the end. Always! Yet truth triumphs not as a result of passivity but from united, courageous, active communication.
