Third in a series: The Abortion Industry Plays a Key Role in Human Trafficking
In January 2011, Live Action investigators posing as pimps prostituting minor girls visited Planned Parenthood facilities asking about getting them abortions and sexually transmitted infections testing.
A series of seven investigational videos resulted from LiveAction's attempt to find out how Planned Parenthood would respond to sex traffickers seeking services, including abortions, for their underage sex slaves. Undercover footage exposed Planned Parenthood employees aiding sex traffickers by suggesting how to get abortions and birth control for their 14- and 15-year-old victims.
LiveAction reports, “The average age of entry into child prostitution is 13, and some girls have been subjected to multiple abortions. An encounter with any health care worker should be an opportunity for trafficking victims to get help to escape from slavery.”
After being exposed Planned Parenthood claimed to the media that it would retrain thousands of staff members across the country to properly report suspected sexual abuse of minors to authorities.Read more

Before I get to Ireland, I want to tell you that the Mass. Legislature’s Health Care Committee did not vote on the Doctor-Prescribed Suicide bills last week - thanks to your hundreds of calls! Unfortunately they have a fall-back date early in May. I'll keep you updated. Again, many thanks!
The Irish government has approved legalizing abortion. This will go to a referendum on May 25, 2018:
It would remove Amendment 8, which protects babies, from the Constitution and add: "Provision may be made in law for regulation of termination of a pregnancy."
Amendment 8 was passed in 1983. At that time, the pro-lifers in Ireland had no materials and little organization. MCFL put together informational packets which weighed 1/2 oz. and we went to every Irish Fair in Massachusetts during the year before. We told people we would give them any number of packets free as long as they promised to mail them to people they know in Ireland. We gave out several hundred.
Now the Irish pro-lifers do have organization, materials, and the internet. What they do not have is George Soros, who is funding this anti-life amendment. We have learned that the side which spends the most almost always wins a referendum. The thought of unlimited abortion in Ireland is gross.
We can do something. If you, or anyone you know, has contacts in Ireland, please let them know that abortion kills a baby, damages a woman, and corrupts society, that abortion will not be "safe, legal, and rare", that they are in battle with evil.

Gail Besse Ryberg profiled human trafficking victim Darlene Pawlik in an April 2017 article in the Hingham Journal, Speaker Shares Personal Story of Survival. This is an excerpt from that article.
Pawlik was conceived in rape, sexually abused by her father, and sold into prostitution on her 14th birthday. Pregnant at 18, she escaped from the man holding her when he threatened to kill her if she didn’t abort her child.
With help from a social worker, she made her way from Haverhill to Friends of the Unborn in Hull, a Christian-based crisis pregnancy center and sheltering home founded by Marilyn Birnie. Meeting Birnie changed Pawlik’s life.Read more

One out of every three children who run away from home in the United States will be approached by a human trafficker within 48 hours.
The victims and perpetrators of human trafficking are all around us—and the abortion industry plays a key role.
The Charlotte Lozier Institute profiled a special report by the Life Issues Institute exposing how vital abortion is to the sex trade industry. Brad Mattes, President of Life Issues Institute, recently recorded a radio special “Victims in the Shadows” on the dangers of human trafficking.
He reports that there are currently over 27 million persons held in slavery worldwide. One out of every three kids who run away from home in the U.S. within 48 hours will be approached by a human trafficker. The average age of entry for girls is between 12-14 and 11-13 for boys.
“Human trafficking is the second largest and fastest-growing criminal industry in the world,” says Nita Belles, the Regional Director of Oregonians Against Trafficking Humans. As for the abortion industry, Belles argues that they “are profiting tremendously” by helping to secure abortions for the victims of sex trafficking.
Charlotte Lozier Institute Senior Policy Analyst Genevieve Plaster reports that trafficking in persons “generates about $32 billion per year.”
Belles says that gangs that used to trade in drugs are finding how lucrative the sex trade can be. Unlike drugs which need to be repurchased after they are sold, a girl can be sold over and over again. “It's all about money,” Belles says. “A pimp with three girls can make over $650,000 a year.”
Marlene Carson was responsible for booking abortion appointments whenever one of the girls became pregnant. Over the years she found the abortion industry would overlook the abuse done to the girls allowing the sex trafficking to continue.
“The pimps would get fake IDs and we'd take them to get abortions,” Carson says. “We would pay someone to go with them pretending to be their mom. Planned Parenthood never asked questions like 'Do you want to keep this child? What's going on?' Honestly, they had to know. These girls were teenagers, not adult women.”
“Every pimp has a stable of three to five girls. At least two girls would have an abortion within a short period of time. I remember a fourteen-year-old girl who needed an abortion and I couldn't do it. I had the house raided and she was rescued. I said, 'I can't do this. This young girl can't go through this.'”
Says Belles, “The abortion industry is profiting immensely on forced abortions.”

In her February 2018 article”Prenatal Testing and Denial of Care”, Bridget Mora exposes another dark side of prenatal testing: refusal to treat. Ms. Mora is the community education and communications coordinator for Be Not Afraid, a nonprofit that supports parents experiencing a prenatal diagnosis and carrying to term.
While most people have heard of amniocentesis (using a needle to extract and analyze the fluid surrounding an unborn baby in the second trimester), many people are unaware of the screening blood tests that have now become virtually routine for all pregnant women.
The difference is that blood screening tests may indicate a probability or risk score that a baby has a chromosomal anomaly, but a definitive diagnosis can only be made through amniocentesis or CVS (Chorionic villus sampling) using a needle to take a sample of tissue from an unborn baby’s placenta for analysis in the first trimester. Tragically, some parents make a decision to abort based on just a blood screening test.Read more
The Trump Justice Department is once again trying to block a taxpayer-funded abortion for a teenage illegal alien who had been raped in her country. Justice Department lawyers argued that it would only beget more violence.
The courts recently forced the government to facilitate an abortion on a teenage illegal immigrant who was in government custody. At the time concerns were expressed that pregnant women would enter the country simply to procure abortions. Of course, the media assured us this would never happen.
In the current case, will see the Justice Department makes some excellent pro-life points.
Stephen Mendelsohn sent along three articles that give a good insight into how being pro-abortion covers many sins among the power elite.
Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has been exposed by the media as a creep who allegedly sexually abused women for decades in his role as head of a major entertainment company. He’s even been accused of rape by some women. What could possibly have allowed this to continue for so long, even as many industry people now admit they’d heard rumors or even knew about it?Read more
As abortion clinics close around the country—with some states down to one and some, even none—and as more and more doctors refusing to become abortionists, the pro-abortion crowd is looking for ways to keep this lucrative business alive. One way is of course through the dangerous abortion pill, but that still requires the presence of a doctor to prescribe the pill. So they’ve found a new solution: abortion prescription by telemedicine.Read more
Has Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Federation, had a massive change of heart and conversion to the pro-life cause? In an email to supporters she said, “Here at Planned Parenthood, we firmly believe that every person has the right to live, work, and raise a family freely and without the threat of deportation or separation… We believe in every person’s right to control their own destiny and their own body.”Read more
Saturday, September 9, 2017 was the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. Pro-life Americans throughout the country gathered at the grave sites of aborted babies and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor to remember the more than 59 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child.
