Stand up for life in Easthampton: support pregnancy centers against harmful ordinance at city council meeting

Massachusetts Citizens for Life urges pro-life supporters to attend the upcoming Easthampton City Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 5th, at 5:45pm. A critical vote will take place on Ordinance 6-23 that threatens Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs) like Bethlehem House.

The meeting will be held at the Easthampton City Hall, situated at 50 Payson Avenue, Easthampton, MA 01027.

Your presence at the forthcoming Easthampton City Council Meeting is vital, as there will be a vote on the proposed Ordinance that could potentially harm these centers.

Under the dedicated leadership of Pam Hibbard and a team of devoted volunteers, Bethlehem House has been a beacon of support for young mothers facing challenging circumstances. However, Ordinance 6-23 unjustly accuses PRCs of engaging in "deceptive" practices. This proposal appears to be part of a larger scheme by pro-choice advocates and organizations to undermine the significant contributions that Bethlehem House and other PRCs provide statewide.

If this Ordinance is approved, it may set a precedent for other communities to follow, jeopardizing the mission of Bethlehem House and all other PRCs in the Commonwealth.

While only residents of Easthampton will have the opportunity to voice their opposition to the Ordinance, your mere presence can have a substantial impact. It is expected that a vote will take place during the meeting, and you being there could influence the outcome.

Please help us spread the word and share this information with pro-life advocates throughout the Commonwealth. People of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting. Let us unite in defense of the invaluable work of Pro-Life Pregnancy Resource Centers and convey by our overwhelming presence our steadfast support for them and their mission to aid mothers and babies in need.
