In a major pro-life victory, the U.S. House passed H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, cutting off Medicaid funding for high-revenue abortion providers like Planned Parenthood for the next decade.
The bill targets nonprofits that primarily provide reproductive services and perform abortions beyond narrow exceptions.
Planned Parenthood, which received nearly $800 million in taxpayer dollars last year while performing a record number of abortions, would be directly impacted.
Massachusetts Citizens for Life President Myrna Maloney Flynn praised the move, calling it a critical step toward a republic rooted in truth, justice, and liberty.
