Say NO to S.1209, the Passive Infanticide Bill in MA

How extreme should Massachusetts be?

S.1209 legalizes infanticide. It is so extreme that it is opposed by citizens all across the political divide.

Say NO to extremism and state-sponsored irresponsibility towards our most vulnerable citizens. Sign the petition now and contact your legislator to oppose S.1209.

Do you believe...

...that a child in the womb at seven, eight, or nine months should be deprived of life, even though she is no physical threat to her mother? Because S.1209 does, changing our law to make abortion elective all the way up to birth.

...that abortion should be legal after birth? Because S.1209 does, allowing for passive infanticide by refusing medical care for any child born alive after an abortion.

...that a pregnant 13 year old should be abandoned to her sexual abuser, and forced into an abortion? Because S.1209 does, removing MA laws that require parental consent or judicial protection and supervision.

...that Massachusetts should increase its tax funding, using your money, to support abortions? Because S.1209 does, allocating "Healthy Start" funds towards abortion procedures throughout all nine months.

S.1209 legalizes infanticide, promotes sexual predation, and removes all protections for human beings in the womb even when viable, and more.

Oppose extremism, say no to the most anti-progressive, anti-woman bill currently on our legislative agenda, and Sign the petition here!

As a retired NICU/L&D RN & Adoptive mother of two, who in the past remained neutral on the abortion issue, I can no longer remain silent:
I am seriously disturbed by any law that allows for the killing of viable developing HUMAN BEINGS! I had the unique opportunity to have worked in the healthcare environment that supported BABIES born early; as young as 26 weeks gestation! Our excellent medical advances were such that we could support them until they were discharged to their families – biological or adoptive.

What is happening here! Are we now rationalizing reasons to end their lives for the sake of a woman who does not want to be a mother! Is this not INFANTICIDE! Women DO have a choice! My son’s birth mother made her choice. She chose not to be his mother…….. I readily stepped into that wonderful role for her.

Where is our society headed when we rationalize sacrificing our future generations? Elizabeth

Please say NO to this evil infanticide and attack on the life of the most vulnerable human beings among us. We must stand up against this culture of death by choosing life.

As a public health student and the daughter of an adopted mother, I oppose this bill. It puts vulnerable women at even greater risk of coercion and medical harm, particularly in our most underrepresented communities. It is written so poorly that it leaves no room for sufficient protection and puts women and children, particularly any with mental or physical disabilities, at tremendous risk.

Massachusetts must defeat the radical and dangerous attempt to make infanticide legal. This barbaric practice has no place in any civilized society. Furthermore, to force American taxpayers to fund abortion at any stage is to violate their Constitutional rights and cause them to have innocent blood on their hands. We will not comply!

Given our amazing technology that informs us when life begins, I am shocked! Shocked and dismayed that America, and now in particular Massachusetts where I live is moving toward infanticide of viable life. This sounds like Nazi Germany and Josef Mengele. Where are our legislators’ consciences?? Are they not supposed to represent the weakest among us?? Has the world gone mad??? Shame on anyone who would vote for this bill. We all will remember on election day!!
