Massachusetts judge blocks Planned Parenthood funding cut

A federal judge in Massachusetts has blocked a key provision of President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act that aimed to cut millions in taxpayer funding to abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood.

U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani issued a preliminary injunction preventing enforcement of the Medicaid funding ban for organizations that perform abortions, keeping federal dollars flowing to Planned Parenthood despite the law’s intent.
