For the 10th year, the Archdiocese of Boston's Permanent Deacons and Pro-Life Office will mark the anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision with Holy Hours for Life in parishes throughout the archdiocese. The Holy Hours will be held in over 100 parishes through eastern Massachusetts, starting January 14 though January 23. A complete listing of Holy Hours can be found on the Archdiocese's web site.
The Holy Hours are an especially apt opportunity for Catholics who cannot attend the March for Life in Washington, DC, on January 19 to offer their prayerful support for the end of abortion. Massachusetts Citizens for Life also encourages everyone to attend the Assembly for Life on Sunday, January 22, which will include ecumenical prayer and inspirational speeches on the common effort to bring about greater respect for LIFE.
