The annual Mother's Day Fundraising Dinner hosted by Massachusetts Citizens for Life in Springfield, Massachusetts, on May 2nd, 2024, proved to be an exceptional success, surpassing all anticipated outcomes.

Attendees from various corners of the Commonwealth and neighboring New England states enjoyed a delightful meal in solidarity with the cause of Life. Under the guidance of emcee Carolee McGrath, a prominent figure in Springfield's media landscape, and the leadership of MCFL President Myrna Maloney Flynn, attendees were updated on the organization's achievements over the past year. Highlights included progress reports on initiatives such as the Pregnancy Care Alliance, Choose Life of Massachusetts, legislative advocacy efforts, and the highly anticipated Celebration of Life Day at the State House, to be held on June 25, 2024.

In his captivating speech, Steven Mosher shared his journey of conversion, recounting his eye-opening experiences as the first American social scientist to visit mainland China. Witnessing the human rights violations perpetrated under China's "one-child policy" made a profound shift in Mosher's beliefs, leading him from pro-choice atheism to a determined advocate for the sanctity of life. Mosher also shed light on America's demographic challenges, emphasizing the importance of fostering larger families for the nation's future prosperity.
