Voiceless Movie Gives a Voice
A new movie out on October 7 depicts the story of a recently discharged soldier who has found God and a new faith. He goes to work in a church reaching out to the community and discovers there’s an abortion facility across the street from the church. He tries to get people involved in closing it down, but meets resistance from all sides. Eventually he has to make a choice whether to put everything in his life on the line or walk away from the babies who are Voiceless.
There is not yet any group sponsoring a showing in Massachusetts, but if any of our members or supporters are interested in organizing to bring Voiceless to Massachusetts, the movie’s promoters provide a complete kit on their web site.
Dr. Mildred Jefferson: Profile
Dr. Mildred Jefferson was the first African-American woman to attend Harvard Medical School, and did so at age 20, which would have been a remarkable lifetime achievement if she’d done nothing further. But her true mark on our nation and our Commonwealth came in her work for Massachusetts Citizens for Life as one of our founders and as she traveled and spoke throughout the country, converting many thousands to the pro-life cause, including President Ronald Reagan.
You can learn more about this amazing woman’s life work in the following profile of Dr. Jefferson from the National Right to Life Committee.
9 Months That Made You
Starting tonight, PBS is offering a new series about the first 9 months of our lives and what happens from conception to birth. It’s called “9 Months That Made You” and was produced by the BBC.
While we can’t expect a public broadcasting program to be explicitly pro-life and anti-abortion, from a pro-life perspective anything that highlights to a national audience the reality of the humanity of the unborn child is welcome. We encourage you to watch with a critical eye and to be prepared to share with others the beauty of life and to offer an alternative to any parts of the show that may not entirely jibe with the reality of the personhood of the unborn.

Sen. Rick Santorum’s Address at the MCFL Fundraising Banquet
Leading up to our annual Fundraising Banquet on October 22, 2015 we were getting very excited to have Karen Santorum as our scheduled keynote speaker. When we received the call that Mrs. Santorum would not be able to join us because she was feeling under the weather, we were excited when she said her husband (and presidential candidate), Sen. Rick Santorum, would fill in.
Senator Santorum’s speech captivated our audience. We had numerous people calling our office asking for a copy of his speech so they could forward it to their family and friends. Below is a copy of the address, which is broken up into four videos.
We want to thank Senator Santorum for graciously taking time out of his busy schedule to address our crowd. It is pretty evident how much the Santorum family cares for one another where a presidential candidate cancels his plans to fill in for his wife when she needs someone to cover for her. Thank you, Sen. & Mrs. Santorum for all you do in being the voice for the voiceless.

Those who attended the Convention were delighted with what they learned and with the chance to exchange ideas.
Prof. Michael New proved beyond a statistical doubt that state laws and other efforts by state organizations have dramatically cut the number of abortions, thus saving many babies. Two-parent parental consent laws (not just notification or one parent) cut the number of abortions by 31%! His talk was full of gems like that.
