Sen. Rick Santorum’s Address at the MCFL Fundraising Banquet

Leading up to our annual Fundraising Banquet on October 22, 2015 we were getting very excited to have Karen Santorum as our scheduled keynote speaker. When we received the call that Mrs. Santorum would not be able to join us because she was feeling under the weather, we were excited when she said her husband (and presidential candidate), Sen. Rick Santorum, would fill in.

Senator Santorum’s speech captivated our audience. We had numerous people calling our office asking for a copy of his speech so they could forward it to their family and friends. Below is a copy of the address, which is broken up into four videos.

We want to thank Senator Santorum for graciously taking time out of his busy schedule to address our crowd. It is pretty evident how much the Santorum family cares for one another where a presidential candidate cancels his plans to fill in for his wife when she needs someone to cover for her. Thank you, Sen. & Mrs. Santorum for all you do in being the voice for the voiceless.

MCFL 2015 Convention–Pictures!

Those who attended the Convention were delighted with what they learned and with the chance to exchange ideas.

Prof. Michael New proved beyond a statistical doubt that state laws and other efforts by state organizations have dramatically cut the number of abortions, thus saving many babies. Two-parent parental consent laws (not just notification or one parent) cut the number of abortions by 31%! His talk was full of gems like that.

2015 Assembly for Life at Faneuil Hall

Although weather kept many away, pro-lifers once again gathered to celebrate LIFE and reiterate their willingness to defend it at MCFL’s Annual Assembly for Life. Rev. Nicholas Granitsas opened with prayer. MC Claudette Petra Joseph was excellent. Tom Harvey led attendees in patriotic songs. Keynote speaker Prof. Anthony Esolen inspired us and made us think. Fr. Mullen motivated our generosity. His Eminence Sean Cardinal O’Malley thanked pro-lifers for their continued defense of life and closed the meeting with a prayer.

Throughout, wonderful music was provided by the Crosses and Anthonys.

2014 Assembly for Life Recapitulation

The Assembly For Life is always a special time for Bay State Pro-lifers.  We gather, commemorate, recharge, get inspired to continue the fight.  This year’s assembly was especially good.  The theme: Massachusetts at the Supreme Court was very well addressed by both keynote speakers, Francis Fox, Esq. and Philip Moran, Esq., who spoke on the historic FEC v. MCFL case and the current McCullen v. Coakley buffer zone case, respectively.  EMCEE Jaymie Stuart Wolfe was fantastic as usual and the Montrose School Treblemakers once again gave an excellent performance.  The attendees were also led in beautiful prayers by members of the clergy.

Many people showed up to Faneuil Hall despite the cold.  If you weren’t able to attend, you should consider coming next year.

A Great Weekend for Life!

A photo from our 40th Annual Assembly for Life at Faneuil Hall in Boston

Despite various challenges this past weekend was an excellent weekend for the pro-life cause. On Friday thousands upon thousands marched in Washington to support the rights of the weakest and most vulnerable among us, the unborn, to live. It isn’t always easy to stand against the horror of abortion but more than half a million people braved the cold to do just that!
