Unfortunately, not everyone at the Statehouse respects the value of human life. MCFL will be working to defeat bills that fail to respect the right-to-life of every human being from conception until natural death.
The Massachusetts Doctor-Prescribed Suicide Act–Bill Number: H1998
Primary Sponsor: Rep. Louis L. Kafka
“An Act affirming a terminally ill patient’s right to compassionate aid in dying”
Unsatisfied with the judgement of the people of the Commonwealth who rejected a similar ballot initiative in November 2013, Rep. Kafka has once again proposed this destructive measure. If passed, the disabled, infirm, depressed, lonely and vulnerable could be offered lethal drugs by their doctors instead of the vital care they need.
