It's not what you planned.

You're afraid.

You don't know what to do.

Your boyfriend, husband or family are pressuring you to get an abortion. You are scared and feel all alone. It feels like the weight of the world is now on your shoulders. You just want to cry.

In some cases, if your a bit older, your thinking "I already have children, I simply can not afford to have another." Your mind is telling you one thing and your heart something else. You have never been so confused.

You know, that while you are reading this, your child lies sleeping in peace and protection within you. You already feel the physical and emotional changes within you. What you need to understand is that you have already become a mother. You are shielding this innocent child, protecting him from the world, it's lies and those who want to harm him.

Your dignity, your possessions and in some cases even your life. and the lives of those you love. Jobs will come and go. Lovers and boyfriends will come and go. Personal possessions will come and go. Your Motherhood lasts forever.

Your child, will provide you with purpose, he will provide you with unconditional love. He will become a part of your very soul and being.

You can't see it now, you're too nervous and afraid, but once you accept your new role, you can then go on to experience the joy that is now growing within you.
