MCFL’s small but dedicated staff oversees the day-to-day business of the organization. The staff is tasked with implementing the policies enacted by the uncompensated, volunteer President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Patricia D. Stewart, Executive Director
Pat, a resident of Norwell, is the author of The Health Care Decision Guide for Catholics, a handbook for those seeking pro-life choices for medical treatment. A former trial lawyer, she transitioned into health care, advocating for the sanctity of life. In 2012, she joined MCFL’s coalition to convincingly defeat the assisted suicide ballot question. Today, among other tasks, she conducts workshops for chapters on medical and end-of- life issues, pending legislation and recent developments in health care. She is also an allied attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom.
