The 40 Days for Life is an international pro-life movement that takes place from September 28 to November 6 and includes several Massachusetts campaigns this year.
40 Days for Life Boston will have a prayer launch on Sunday, September 25, at Betania 2, 154 Summer St, Medway, starting at 4pm with Mass. A talk by Jill Stanek, the National Campaign Chairman of the Susan B. Anthony List, and formerly a nurse who assisted with abortions, will follow. Kick-off of the campaign will be Wednesday, September 28 at Planned Parenthood in Boston at 3pm. See their web page for details on other dates and times connected to the campaign.
Other Massachusetts campaigns starting on September 28 include Attleboro, which will have a kick-off prayer service on Saturday, October 1 with Fall River’s Bishop Edgar da Cunha outside the Four Women Clinic; Lynn outside North Shore Women’s Center; Springfield outside Planned Parenthood in that city; and Worcester, which will have a statewide rally as the city representing Massachusetts for the 40 Days for Life National Team 50-state bus tour. The vigil will take place outside Planned Parenthood Worcester.
40 Days for Life is a grassroots movement that organizes local communities to have a peaceful, prayerful round-the-clock presence outside of abortion facilities for a full 40-day period.
