The 2018 Assembly for Life on January 21 will bring Massachusetts pro-lifers outside of Route 495 to Worcester's Mechanic Hall, to hear Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life speak on the respect for life. Other speakers will be announced as we get closer to the date of the event.
The Assembly for Life began as a way for those who couldn’t travel to Washington, DC, for the annual March for Life, to be able to gather and witness to the value of life and to mark the anniversary of the awful Roe v. Wade that unconstitutionally forced legalization of abortion on all 50 states. Over the years, it has developed into a gathering with a power and purpose of its own as an opportunity to witness to the value and dignity of all human life.
(Although the Assembly for Life is usually held in Boston's historic Faneuil Hall, that location is undergoing renovations this year and so we are being hosted at Worcester's beautiful Mechanics Hall.)
Help us remember those who deserve our thanks.
We have been blessed over the years with committed, enthusiastic, and effective pro-life activists, such as Dr. Joe Stanton, Dr. Mildred Fay Jefferson, and Rabbi Samuel Fox. Every five years, at the Assembly for Life, we honor those activists who have gone before us. We have a preliminary list below. There will be many others whom you remember. Please check the list and give us any other names of people to be honored at the 2018 Assembly, by either putting the name in the "Reaction" space below or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
