Well, it’s over. Last week we closed out the MCFL 2013 Summer Academy in Warren with a showing of the pro-life movie October Baby and a commissioning ceremony for our newest pro-life ambassadors. It was certainly a lot of work putting the events on over the course of several weeks but it was also very worth it.
The enthusiasm and energy of the young people who came to learn about various aspects of the pro-life struggle, from fetal development to doctor-prescribed suicide to political engagement, was inspiring. I know that they’ll go on to do great things to protect the unborn, elderly, infirm and vulnerable while working to restore respect for all human life from.
While we’re on the subject of contributions to the pro-life movement, I can’t forget to give a special thank-you to our generous hosts at St. Stanislaus Parish in Warren and to all the pro-lifers who helped to make the Academy possible.
Thanks for all you do for the cause of Life.
We’re already making plans for next year’s Summer Academy which we hope to make the best yet. In the meantime watch this space for news about Camp Joshua, another youth oriented pro-life training event coming up this Fall. This fight will be won by the young activists being formed today–its up to us to make sure they have the tools and training they need.
